Why agencies stop sending raw tool exports

Automated audit tools are cheap, often $20 to $79 a month for unlimited reports [1]. The problem is what is in them: alarms that are not real, advice that does not fit the client, and a list of 200 issues with no order. The agency then spends the afternoon checking the report before it can send it.

We tested this on ourselves. Across 28 real websites in October 2026, every BeacX finding was checked by hand against the live page, next to a leading desktop crawler and a leading audit suite.

The wrong claims we found were rarely in the crawl. They were in the report layer: a bot-blocker’s “access denied” pages read as content, doctors’ credentials missed, hreflang twins called duplicates. Each one is now fixed in the engine, and a person still checks every report for the next one.
